About Northwest Kyokushin

The Northwest Kyokushinkai Dojo in Pullman is one of the largest and most successful in the area with members from WSU as well as the Pullman and greater Palouse area. The traditional karate taught is based on the principles and ethics set down by the founder of the system Sosai Mas Oyama. We are members of the International Karate Organization - Matsushima (IKO-Matsushima) under the leadership of Yoshikazu Matsushima. With frequent visits from Shihan Roman Szyrajew (7th dan), who brought us into IKO-Matsushima. We are directly under the leadership of Shihan John Adams, United States Branch Chief (Washington).

In addition to serving karate students in Pullman, Northwest Kyokushin has dojos located across the Pacific Northwest. Washington locations in Ellensburg, Seattle, Kirkland, and Davenport. Other locations include Moscow, ID, Corvallis, OR, and Greely, CO. Northwest Kyokushin provides a comprehensive training experience in a friendly and inclusive environment. Students from all backgrounds and all skill levels are encouraged to come and see how Kyokushin can change their lives.
